I began my mortgage career in 1990 working here at Mariner Mortgage Inc.  Originally incorporated in 1988, Mariner Mortgage was founded by my father and has been run with unparalleled work and business ethics.  I have developed strong referral and repeat business as a result of my staff's commitment to customer satisfaction.  I believe that the best in the mortgage business, as in any business, continue to educate themselves with regard to their trade.  I served as the Chapter President for the North Central Coast Chapter (NCC) of California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB) for two years.  I further served an additional two years on the Board of Directors for NCC of CAMB.  In 2007 I earned my Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist designation which enhances my credentials.  We have taught classes in the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties on Foreclosure Prevention as well as First Time Home Buyer Education. 

I have been happily married for 15 years to my wife Bethany.  We have two beautiful children, Alexandra and Garrett .  Having a family has brought about a greater understanding of the American Dream, homeownership.  I have also learned of the importance of saving for children’s education, planning for the future, and the need to incorporate all of these factors into a synergistic financial plan that fosters security.

When not working I enjoy fishing, watching the kids in their varied interests, and serving the community.  I have been a member of Kiwanis Club of Greater Pismo Beach since 1994 and have coached various youth sports in the area.
